NEW: Asparagus Ferns

New shop offering: asparagus ferns!  These indoor plants are interesting, both in look and composition.  Asparagus ferns are POISONOUS if ingested, and are a mild skin irritant if handled--plus the sprigs have prickly bits on them.  So if you have overly curious pets or kids, please do not purchase.  It is better to err on the side of caution with these things.

Asparagus ferns for sale

On a positive note, this low-light plant is relatively easy to grow.  Grow indoors in an area of partial sun and partial shade.  Pick off and dispose of dead leaves and withering stems.

My plants:
I grew these asparagus ferns indoors from untreated seed in organic soil, and utilized partial sun conditions (see above image).  Each sprig is approx. 5"-12" tall/long.  You will receive ONE of the plants shown in the planter.  Limited stock: purchase an asparagus fern here.

Back in Stock: Spider Plants

Back for a limited time in shop are spider plants.  I currently listed a few for sale, but will add more once the pups (aka baby spider plants) develop thicker roots and leaves.  Grown in organic soil in a biodegradable indoor planter, these plants are a favorite of mine because of their ease of care.  They demand little light and grow well in small-to-medium-sized containers.

Purchase a spider plant here.

P.S. I recently went on a jewelry-making streak and created some gorgeous pieces with an autumn color palette.  Can't wait to photograph and share them with you all!  Check back here for sneak peeks, or find me on Instagram @ectiwshop.  (Note: I have decided to nix my 15% off for IG followers because PayPal has a new-as-of-10/30 policy where those receiving refunds must have a PayPal account in order to obtain the discount!)

Spring Shop Deal: Spider Plants

Looking for a new indoor plant for spring?  Help me rehome my spider plant pups...

4/18 UPDATE: Thanks for the spider plant love!  I have only a few left.

As you can see in the above image, this spring my spider plant has an overabundance of pups (aka baby plants), so if you are a US resident in the market for a new semi-easy-care houseplant, these recently discounted little pups could be an ideal fit for you.  A perennial, the parent spider plant from which these pups sprung is three+ years old.  Spider plants are a perfect springtime addition your home, as they naturally provide ample color and texture to your living space.  Gift them, too!  They are visually appealing and inexpensive when gifted in a small planter with soil.

See this listing to purchase.  For a free plant-related giftmention that you are a blog reader at checkout (type this in the "Note to EmeraldCut")!
