Came across this amazing homage-to-wilderness Pinterest board a few days ago, which has got me seeking the wilderness cure for the common ills of American city life: smog, pollution, too many people in a rush with poor manners, among other things. It's funny how this very American "cure," which was first popularized in the 19th century, still pretty much holds true today for many a city dweller. However, today this romanticization of wide, open spaces has a new name: wanderlust.
