Politics aside would be lovely again. There's a fascinating article/blog in The Economist on how Fox News is not to blame for the partisan divide but the onset of social media is and how no one watches or reads news but gathers their information from Twitter links which is causing people to become more partisan than ever over nothing as it's being fueled intentionally.

T., thanks for your comment. That article you mentioned sounds very interesting. I can see how it can happen, taking opinion for fact, especially in the Internet age. But then, geez, there is a reason why reading and watching the news is important--to be educated about both sides of the story...that's the NEWS' job: to be as objective as possible.
